WHAT TUNA SPECIES IS THE LARGEST IN THE WORLD?

What tuna species is the largest is the world? a. Yellowfin b. Skipjack c. Bluefin d. Albacore d. Bigeye If you said Bluefin, you are correct. The Bluefin tuna is the largest of them all. The largest one currently on record belongs to fisherman Ken Fraser, who caught a bluefin tuna off the coast of Nova Scotia, Canada in 1979 at 1,496 LBS. Starting the new year, Bad Tuna Bob and his design team have been coming up with new t-shirt ideas for 2022. We did see a couple of concepts from local Hawaiian kine to California designs. One local design “YO LIKE SAH-MO SLIPPAH? “ cracked us up laughing. So, we can’t wait to see other designs forthcoming from our design team. Stay tuned.  Also, as a side note. BUTTERFLY BEACH IN MONTECITO

On our way back from Solvang to Orange County, CA. we had the opportunity to stop at Butterfly Beach in Montecito to fly one of our drones.  Butterfly Beach is a favorite among Santa Barbara locals. The beach’s pristine shoreline is ideal for swimming, surfing and sunbathing, and its unique east-west orientation makes for some truly spectacular sunrises AND sunsets. Unfortunately, we did not have the time to take some footage of sunset, but we hope that get back there in a few months. It’s not Hawaii, but it is a great place to lounge with a good book, or venture into the ocean...

2021 OUR TRAVELS PART 3 - ARTIST RIDGE HUNTOON POINT, WASHINGTON

Part 3 of our travels took us to a spectacular, short trail that gets lots of love during its short hiking season. We grabbed our drone and headed up to Artist Ridge Huntoon Point, WA., where access to this area is less than three months per year. Lots of hikers and tourists take to Artist Ridge as the snow finally begins to melt. You can also view both Mt Baker and Mt. Shuksan from point of the ridge.  Check out our video footage here.
